Based on the geographical location, Bork features strong thermal winds in spring and early summer. So even bad forecasts very often allow for planing conditions. As a result, the racing chances are very high at this time of the year.
Infrastructure
The spot offers sufficient parking space and grass meadows to rig your windsurfing gear. Furthermore, the changing rooms are fitted with showers and toilets. Bork offers several restaurants, a supermarket, a well-stocked windsurf shop, holiday cottages and camping facilities.
General information
The course is laid in such a way that in less windy conditions there is a water depth of at least 1.50 m for foil boards and formula sailors. In more windy conditions, the depth is at least 60 cm for slalom and freeride fins.
